David Eaton

David Eaton (born July 2, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American composer and conductor who has been the music director of the New York City Symphony since 1985.

Eaton was the first composer to create a musical piece for orchestra and a beatbox soloist.

"Kenny's Joy" was also featured on the History Channel's Stan Lee's Super Humans in 2010.

The piece was also performed by the Kokolo String Ensemble in 2011 at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
